Quiet but meaningful change is taking shape at KL University’s Aziz Nagar campus as the educators have stepped into the role of learners once again.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is currently conducting a five-day Faculty Development Program titled Modern Programming on Emerging Technologies, scheduled from January 20 to 24, 2026. The program has brought together faculty members in an environment filled with discussion, hands-on exploration, and shared learning.
Designed with a clear purpose, the program focuses on strengthening teaching confidence in an era shaped by intelligent systems and fast-evolving digital tools. Participants are receiving practical training in AI-enabled Microsoft Office applications, Python programming fundamentals, and AI-driven Python libraries, along with exposure to web development practices and DevOps workflows.
What sets this initiative apart is its strong emphasis on application. Sessions are interactive and grounded in real academic use cases, encouraging faculty to immediately connect new skills with classroom delivery, research work, and everyday academic processes. The approach reinforces technology as a usable and adaptable skill rather than a distant concept.
In line with KL University’s commitment to inclusive professional growth, the program is open to all staff members with free registration. Faculty who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, recognising active participation and continued professional development.
This ongoing initiative reflects KL University’s broader vision of academic excellence through continuous learning, further strengthening its standing among the top universities in South India. As the program progresses, it serves as a reminder that the future of education is built by educators who continue to learn, adapt, and grow together.
