How to extend the service life of sound proof pod?
Material selection
High density fiberglass board, mineral wool board and other durable materials are preferred, with better sound insulation and anti-aging performance. Polyester fiberboard is lightweight but needs to be used with fire-resistant materials. Avoid using aging foam materials, especially in high temperature or humid environment.
Usage and maintenance
Regular inspection: Check monthly whether the sealing strip is aging, whether there is sound leakage in the gaps between doors and windows, and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.
Cleaning and maintenance: Use neutral cleaning agents to wipe the surface and avoid corrosive solvents. Metal parts can be coated with anti rust oil (as shown in the diagram).
Moisture proof treatment: Install dehumidification equipment in humid environments or use moisture-proof coatings (as shown in the diagram).
Environmental protection
Temperature and humidity control: Maintain the ambient temperature between -20 ℃ and 50 ℃, and keep the humidity below 70%.
Shock absorption measures: If it is close to the vibration source (such as equipment), shock absorbers or floating floor structures can be installed.
design quality
Professional installation: Ensure the stability of structures such as walls and ceilings, and multi-layer design (such as air layer+sound insulation layer) can improve the sound insulation effect.
Maintainability: Choose modular design for easy replacement of internal sound insulation materials or repair of components.
By implementing the above measures, the lifespan of the sound proof pod can be significantly extended to over 15 years, while maintaining optimal sound insulation performance.
