How to store industrial coating supplies?

The storage methods for industrial coating products mainly include the following aspects:
Environmental requirements: Coatings should be stored in a dry, well ventilated warehouse, away from sources of fire and other flammable materials. The temperature inside the warehouse should be controlled between 6-25 ℃, the relative humidity should be below 60%, and direct sunlight should be avoided. In addition, the storage area should be clearly marked and stored separately from other hazardous materials to avoid cross contamination and accidents.
Container handling: Coatings are usually stored in iron drums, and attention should be paid to the sealing of the container and preventing moisture and corrosion. When storing paint buckets, they should not be placed directly on the ground and should be elevated by more than 10 centimeters to ensure ventilation. For opened coatings, it is recommended to allocate them according to usage to reduce waste and ensure the freshness of the materials before each use.
Regular inspection: Regularly invert the container to prevent sedimentation. For coatings that have exceeded their storage period, they should be inspected in a timely manner to see if they meet the usage requirements. Priority should be given to using coatings that have not deteriorated to prevent waste.
Safety measures: The warehouse should be equipped with necessary fire-fighting equipment and prominently labeled with a "No Smoking" sign. When opening the paint bucket, avoid using iron tools to strike to prevent sparks from causing explosions.
Classification management: Coatings should be classified and registered when entering the warehouse, with the manufacturer name, batch number, date of manufacture, and date of entry filled in. Strictly follow the principle of first use for production to manage and avoid excessive backlog.
Through the above measures, the safe storage of industrial coating products can be effectively ensured, their service life can be extended, and the risk of accidents can be reduced.
